History, mission, and vision of AIL Valencia
Welcome to AIL Valencia
Hello! Our names are Sal and Marta, the School Director and the School Manager of AIL Valencia/2Day Languages. Our journey with this school began in August 2015, when we both joined as Spanish teachers, a year after the school’s initial opening. A month later and to our great surprise, the former owners of 2Day Languages announced their decision to close the school.
With determination and a shared vision, we decided to take over the project and create something truly special turning what initially felt like a setback into an opportunity!!! As co-owners, we divided our responsibilities with Marta taking charge of operations and administration, while Sal focused on academic leadership.
Driven by two core values—passion and quality—we focused on building an inspiring learning environment. Over time and thanks to hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment, 2Day Languages became a much-loved institution, growing both in scope and in reputation.
In 2024, we took an exciting step forward by becoming part of the AIL Español group. This merger brings together the boutique charm and personalized approach of 2Day Languages with AIL Español’s extensive expertise and global reach. Together, we’re redefining Spanish language education, offering students the best of both worlds.
Our history
2015: A new beginning for 2Day Languages
2018-2023: Collaboration with AIL Español
2Day Languages collaborated with AIL Español as its official partner school in Valencia. Over these years, the two institutions shared values and worked together on educational projects, delighting hundreds of students.
2023: Instituto Cervantes Accreditation and AIL Español proposal
2Day Languages earned accreditation from the Instituto Cervantes, reaffirming its commitment to quality education. Later that year, Chris Haworth, founder of AIL Español, invited Sal and Marta to formally join the AIL Español family.
2024: The creation of AIL Valencia
